Mr. W was such a good little model! His mom and dad both came by our studio for his first photo shoot. He did perfect!

He held his head and chest up really high! He's only 3 months old!

Children, Miss A

Miss A is such a happy little girl! This was her 1st time to our studio and she did great.She really liked being without her diaper!!

Children, M family

The M family is so beautiful! 3 little girls and 1 handsome little guy! They are so well behaved and such good kids. Mrs. M was wanting a picture of her children all smiling and happy....that is not easy to do with 4 kids! So, we took a bunch used a little photoshop and you can see all happy faces. They just bought a new plantation home and this photo will be the largest print we have printed so far...24x30 canvas!

I thought this was so funny! Sorry Mr. M....it was really funny when you started to cry and your sisters all cracked up laughing... :)

The oldest sister, Miss C. Such a beauty and so smart. I see her as the CEO of some company, running it all.

Miss C, middle sister. She is so bubbly and wanted to pose. We took a bunch of her! She was really into having her photo taken just by herself. Love her dark curly hair.

Miss M, the youngest sister. She has such a sweet kind spirit. Very angelic in this photo, it's one of my favorites.Mr. M, what are you going to do with 3 older sisters?! He is the king of the castle and his new home he will have a third floor all to himself.

The M children are so beautiful! I enjoyed our time so much!

Happy Birthday Miss S!

Miss S has been coming to see us since she was 6 weeks old! She has changed so much from session to session, but she has always been so good! I thought she looked like she was really thinking about posing! Such a pretty face!

Now let's get to the good stuff....cake!! She wasn't too sure, but Miss S ate enough to make the photos look like she liked it.

Children, Mr. J

Take me out to the ballgame...This little cutie is going to be a heart breaker!! I love those big brown eyes and smile. Mr. J is my nephew and his mommy wanted to redo his bedroom in baseball/sports theme, so what could be cuter than Mr. J poster size in the room??? Too cute! Mr. J was a ham and enjoyed playing around.

I have never seen a 2 year old as athletic as Mr. J. He can pedal a bike, catch, throw and has been able to for awhile. Look for his name in lights someday soon!

We love you Mr. J!! I'm so glad you came to see us! :)

Children, Mr. C

The cutest, most adorable, sweetest, most wonderful little boy turns 2 in a couple of weeks! (He's mine so I can say all that!) Mr. C you are a joy to us!

His grandmother made this outfit originally for Mr. C's daddy. It looked so cute on Mr. C, almost 28 years later!

Off to the park for some fun! He was really excited about the 'big sucker' he was getting.

APPA Convention

I spent Sunday-Wednesday afternoon at the APPA (Arkansas Professional Photographers Association) Convention in Little Rock. It was awesome!! There were so many good speakers and one of them was THE wedding photographer for the stars. Dennis Reggie, he photographed JFK Jr's wedding, Maria and Arnold- just to name a few. He had to fly out early the next day because he was photographing the Today Show couple that got married on Wednesday morning. His weddings STARTED at $28,000....he said several times started....Of course his equipment did cost more than my house! So we have to keep it all in perspective. Anyway, he was really good and he showed photos and how he got the lighting he used. I heard from other well known photographers on technical issues light the best way to use outdoor/indoor/studio lighting, lenses, composition, print competition and other info. I'm so fortunate to be a part of an association where the members genuinely share information that has helped them become successful. It was so informative and I'm definately a better photographer for attending.

Wedding, Mrs. K and Mr. B

Mrs. K and Mr. B's wedding was so beautiful! It was outside at Wolly Hollow State Park in Greenbriar, AR. Josh and I had a such great time at this wedding. Here are just a few of our favorites.

The couple had their moment before hand on a pier on the lake. It was a gorgeous setting!

I never cry during the ceremony when we are shooting...but this ceremony got me all choked up!! It was sooo sweet. The preacher had them each hold their hands and told them they were the hands that would hold their 'newborn children, rock their babies, and become old'....etc. It was precious.There was a very interesting part to the ceremony....A snake came out and got really close to us!! Close enough where the groom was kicking at it! Yikes! I took several steps back and shot from a different angle! ha

Mrs. K and Mr. B I wish you many years of happiness--they have already dated over 7 years! I know you guys will do great! Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your special day!

Happy Birthday Mr. C!!

Mr. C is one!! I can't believe it! He loved his cake. Mmmmmmmmmm this is good!

Really REALLY good!! Mr. C was so funny! He would bend and take bites with his face in the cake. I was laughing so hard I could hardly shoot!
